WeSC spaces out on their new collaboration.Those WeSC x Bloody Beetroots headphones were damn cute, but now it’s time for another artist collaboration on behalf of the Superlative Conspiracy, and their supremely great Bongo range.
This season, the Scandinavian streetwear label recruits Joachim Garraud, a famous French DJ and music producer who works with David Bowie, Kylie Minogue, and Kid Vicious, among other iPod staples. WeSC asked Garraud to mark up their merchandise with his signature graphic, an image borrowed from Atari, Nintendo, and more recently, the street artist Space Invader. You may remember it from such masterpieces as Exit Through the Gift Shop, as well as Pac Man, Miss Pac Man, and Centipede. It’s the low-fi, old-school happy alien, and it’s now on a pair of WeSC Bongo Headphones.
They’re limited-edition, adorable, and living proof that Earth girls are easy - at least when it comes to falling for a super-adorable pair of earphones.
Now let’s just hope the little Martians don’t demand, “Take us to your Bieber.”
